At BIG4 Middleton Beach Holiday Park, we're trialling pet-friendly stays during the low season (June to end of October, excluding school holidays and public holidays) on camping and caravan sites only.
Please note - all dogs must be approved prior to arrival, and bookings with pets must be made directly with our team. Please read our guidelines carefully to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, both two and four-legged.
LOW SEASON PET GUIDELINES
Key Conditions:
- Maximum of two dogs per site.
- Pets are welcome on Ensuite Sites, Powered Sites and Unpowered Sites only – not in cabins or other accommodation.
- All dogs must be approved prior to arrival – bookings with pets must be made directly with our team. Call 1800 644 674.
- Dogs must be on a lead at all times and never left unattended.
- Owners must clean up after their pets at all times.
- Barking or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Management reserves the right to ask to leave if conditions aren't met.
- Policy is subject to review and may change.
No-Go Areas:
- Dogs are not permitted in any buildings, park facilities, or on other guests’ sites.
- Beach access from the park is not allowed, and dogs are not permitted on the beach directly in front of the park.
- The closest designated dog beach is just east of the park – please use the boom gate and path to access it via the Surfers Beach car park.
Damage/Cleaning:
- Owners are liable for any damage or additional cleaning required due to their pet.
- Credit card details will need to be provided.
We want all guests – two- and four-legged – to enjoy their stay. Thank you for respecting these guidelines.

Are you pet-friendly?
- We do not accept pets during high and mid-season, but 'paws and relax' as we do welcome your furry friends on camp and caravan sites only, during low season (June to October, excluding school holidays & public holidays). Conditions apply, please refer to our Pets page here.
Are camp fires allowed?
- Open fires are prohibited in the park.
- There is a cosy wood fireplace located in the Campers Kitchen, for all guests to enjoy in the cooler months.
- There are electric and gas BBQ’s in the park located by the pool, amenity block, camp kitchen and by gated entrance at far end of park.
What is your Day Visitor Policy?
- Registered guests are permitted to have visitors during their stay. All visitors must be registered at reception when entering the park and further must park their vehicle in the public Middleton Beach car park. Please note, guests and their dependants are not permitted to use the parks’ facilities, due to liability and insurance reasons.
- Please note it is the responsibility of all parents/guardians to supervise children at all times during your time at the park.
- We apologise for our strict policy but have implemented this to protect our local business and paying guests right and entitlements to park facilities.
